About Me

Just Smile Life Coach.

My journey started in the Bahamas, as a child I always knew that I wanted to help other, which to me at that stage of life meant becoming a doctor.

After high school I attended Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia where I obtained a Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry. During my college days, I realized there was other ways of helping people, and my new path became chemistry (medicine).

From there I worked in the Pharmaceutical Industries as a Chemist for 13 years. During these years I became an advisor and mentor to most of my colleagues (helping others). I started a young girls program called “Just Smile” where we spoke on topics such as responsibility, peer pressure, decision make, sex, feminine hygiene, careers, finance and much more. This was one of my most proudest accomplishment, because I helped developed confidence and life skills in teen girls and once again discovered another way to help others.

After leaving the pharmaceutical industry, I joined my husband in our family construction company. Transitioning from employee to employer was a learning experience and to see both side gave me a new appreciation for employers and compassion for employees. My role as employer once again allowed me to help and assist my employees, another way to help others.

After giving my husband some advice he looked at me as said, “you should be a coach”. I took his comment to heart and started my journey as a coach by enrolling to became certified. If I am going to do something, I must do it the right way, especially if its to help others, I want to give my BEST to help everyone to be their BEST.

Life has a way of telling us our purpose, but because life doesn’t tell us the detail most of us feel like we do not know what our purpose is. For myself, I can say I am now clear on what my purpose is TO HELP OTHERS and coaching has allowed me to discover how.
